West Side Property Condition Inventory

Research project investigating changing housing conditions in a gentrifying urban neighborhood.

Project consisted of:

• Geodatabase design
• ArcGIS Collector survey design and data collection
• Spatial analysis of field-collected data
• Creation of a public data website, consisting of a Story Map and interactive web map developed using ArcGIS JavaScript API
• Publication of a paper presenting the project as an example of "Community Geography" aimed at urban planners and community development practitioners

I contributed to a similar project in 2017 for the City of Tonawanda as part of New York State's "Zombie" property initiative.
